From Hissing to Holding Hands
Left behind and bullied outdoors, this shy foster cat kept his distance for weeks — until one quiet December night changed everything.
Flerken was left behind when his owners moved and survived outside, shy and beaten up by other cats. In foster care, he hissed and kept his distance for weeks. Then, just before Christmas, he leaned into a pet — and even placed his paw on her hand. From that moment on, the scared “misfit” became a loving, Velcro lap cat who just needed someone patient enough to wait for him.
